To learn more on that, click here:
Session One featured the four NFT teams squaring off against one another. Game 1 saw the both undefeated teams in Bored Ape FC and 8oki looking to remain that way. For Bored Ape FC, Quarterback Deondre Francois, who struggled in Week One, looked to regroup and lead his squad to a victory. In his corner would be Week One sensation Superback Jakobie Baker, Wide Receivers Maurice Thomas and Terrance Williams, and more. On the 8oki sidelines roamed Quarterback Mitch Kidd, who was arguably the best QB in Week One. Wide Receiver Joseph Boykin would look to carry his three touchdown game heroics into Week Two and help his team secure a W.
Game 2 in Session One pitted the winless Kingpins and Knights of Degen in a battle for each team’s first win. The Kingpins lucked out during this week’s player draft. Week One Quarterback Tirri Jones was undoubtedly the league’s biggest surprise. Jones lit it up and turned heads in the process. The Kingpins were able to draft Jones and keep him on the roster for Week Two. Jones, Superback Daryl Virgies, and Wide Receiver Elijah Rogers were a formidable trio in Week One and looked to keep things rolling in Week Two. On the KOD side of things, it all starts with Quarterback Ed Crouch. Although his play was up and down in Week One, the Knights liked him enough to make him a Keeper in Week Two. Crouch along with Superback Terrelle West are what kickstarts the KOD offense. Wide Receivers Yedidiah Louis, Jacoby Herring, and company looked to keep piling up the points this week.
Let’s get to recapping!
Session 1 - 1PM EST Start Time
Game 1: (1-0) Bored Ape FC vs (1-0) 8oki
First Half
Bored Ape FC won the Rock-Paper-Scissors but would defer to the second half. A chunk play from Quarterback Mitch Kidd to Wide Receiver Joseph Boykin, would connect for 20+ yards on the first play from scrimmage. Kidd would scramble in for a touchdown just two plays later, giving 8oki the lead 6-0. Wide Receiver Patrick Smith would tack on two more via a successful conversion attempt and extend the lead to 8-0.
Bored Ape FC would get the ball next. Quarterback Deondre Francois would take some deep shots downfield on the first drive. 8oki would defend those shots and prevent any big plays through the air. Francois would turn to his legs, scrambling for a TD instead. His nifty 21-yard run would put some points on the board for BAFC. The score would sit at 8-6.
Mitch Kidd would show some flashy moves in the pocket on the next drive. After a pickup of four yards on the ground, he’d elude pressure from multiple BAFC defenders and find WR Cedric Byrd downfield on the next play. Later in the drive, 8oki would be faced with a 4th and 7 from the 11 yard line. Following an incomplete pass, 8oki would use its Progressive 5th Down Power Up. Mitch Kidd would once again avoid pressure and find Cedric Byrd for a touchdown! 8oki extended its lead to 14-8.
Bored Ape FC would get a chance on offense and move the chains via Deondre Francois and his running abilities. 8oki defense Shut Down Squad really buckled up as the drive progressed. BAFC would elect to use the Progressive 5th Down Power Up with just one second remaining in the half. Francois would find Wide Receiver Terrance Williams in the end zone to end the half! 8oki would hold a two point lead with Bored Ape FC trailing 14-12.

Second Half
It did not take long for Bored Ape FC to keep the momentum rolling into the second half. A two-play drive with both completions being hauled in by Wide Receiver Maurice Thomas would result in another touchdown. After a successful conversion, BAFC would take the lead 20-14.
8oki would look to get back on track offensively in the second half. A 4th and 19 would see a completion, but the offense would come up short of the line to gain. 8oki would elect to use the Wendy’s Flip The Field following the turnover on downs.
BAFC Superback Jakobie Baker would rip off a 20+ yard run to start the next drive. Baker would reel in a pass from Francois a few plays later, setting up the Bored Ape FC in the Blue Zone. Deondre Francois would rush for a nice gain, falling forward into the end zone. The play would be reviewed and the call would stand. Francois had stepped out of bounds before crossing the pylon. Two plays later, Jakobie Baker would rush for a touchdown. Bored Pe FC extended its lead to 26-14.
With Bored Ape FC having what seemed to be all the momentum of the game on their side, 8oki would try and get some back. Instead, a disastrous play sees a botched snap go all the way into the end zone, recovered by BAFC’s Styvis Latham for 6 more points. 32-14 was the score with just 2:08 left to play. Mitch Kidd would throw an interception a few plays later to Styvis Latham. BAFC would cruise to a 32-14 victory over 8oki!

Game 2: (0-1) Knights of Degen vs (0-1) Kingpins
First Half
The Kingpins won the Rock-Paper-Scissors but deferred to the second half. KOD and Quarterback Ed Crouch went right to work on offense, firing a nice completion over the middle to begin the game. Crouch would rush for a touchdown just two plays later, giving the Knights an early 6-0 lead.
Kingpins Quarterback Tirri Jones would lead his offense out into the field for its first drive of the game. Jones would find Wide Receiver Tony Dixon, setting up a fourth down play. Jones would roll outside of the pocket and miss his intended receiver downfield on 4th and 3. Kingpins fans would vote and approve the use of the Progressive 5th Down Power Up on the opening drive. Jones’ intended pass would fall incomplete, resulting in a turnover on downs. The Kingpins would use the Wendy’s Flip The Field Power Up and pin Knights of Degen deep in its own territory.
KOD would head back to work on offense. Ed Crouch would launch a bomb to Wide Receiver Jacoby Herring for a touchdown… but a penalty would negate the score. A few plays later, Crouch would hit Yedidiah Louis in the end zone for a TD. KOD would extend its own lead to 12-0.
The Kingpins possessed the ball next, looking for any offensive firepower in what had been a lackluster first half. Superback Daryl Virgies would show some tough inside running to move the chains, and Tirri Jones would add some yardage one with his legs as well. The two players would attempt a QB Option, but the ball ended up on the turf and it was recovered by KOD with under a minute to play in the half.
Neither team would score before the end of the half, keeping things at 12-0 in favor of the Knights of Degen after 20 minutes of play.
Second Half

The Kingpins would make a QB change on the next drive, going with backup Danny Southwick. It didn’t matter. The Kingpins would go 5-and-out on the drive, turning the ball over on downs.
The Knights would tack on six more via an Ed Crouch rushing TD on the next drive. After a successful two-point try, KOD’s lead was 28-0.
Tirri Jones would head back into the game for the Kingpins. They’d finally get on the board with a nice TD pass from Jones to Wide Receiver Eterrious Giles. A successful two-point attempt pushed the score to 28-8. The game ended by that same score, as KOD thumped the Kingpins.
