The Tampa Tornadoes have announced a tryout that will take place on January 5th 2025.
The Baltimore Lightning announced two front office hires this week. First, former San Diego Chargers WR Wes Chandler has joined the franchise. Chandler will assume the role of Senior Advisor. Also, three time Super Bowl Champion Robert Ford joins the Lightning brass. Ford will serve as Director of Football Operations, as well as Associate Head Coach.

The 2025 ELF season will consist of 16 teams. The league will feature the start of the Nordic Storm, the Seamen Milano will take a one year break, and the Barcelona Dragons are leaving the ELF. ELF Commissioner Patrick Esume elaborated on the tough situations involving Milano and Barcelona, stating "It was clear to us that not all teams would grow equally. Milan needs a year's break and in other cases you have to part ways if it doesn't work out"
The Berlin Thunder have hired Dean Cokinos as the team’s new Head Coach. Cokinos spent last season as the Head Coach of the AFL’s Nashville Kats.

The Arena League will adopt a more traditional 7-on-7 format next season. In addition to the change in personnel, each team will now consist of a 20-man roster with a 16-man game day roster in 2025.
The Eau Claire Axemen announced an open tryout set for January 18th, 2025.
