The IFA has announced a weekly “ Coaches Corner” show that will feature former NFL Linebacker and IFA Founder Shawne Merriman.
The league also announced that on Monday, December 16th, updated league news will drop. This news includes updates on teams within the IFA, future players, cities, broadcasting, and more.
The San Antonio Caballeros have announced the hiring of General Manager, Assistant Head Coach, and Special Teams Coordinator Dr. Jack Welch. Welch brings over 40 years of experience to his new role with San Antonio.
The Baltimore Lightning have announced a TV broadcast deal with Sinclair Broadcasting. In an X post that was posted on Friday, 2025 Lightning games will be broadcasted via the MyTV network.

Arena Football One and VICE TV have announced a partnership to broadcast all of AF1’s 2025 games. The partnership will see the creation of VICE Sports, a brand new company aiming to broadcast original sports programming. The most also sees a network partnership with A & E to broadcast on local television.

The Albany Firebirds announced the hire of its brand new CEO Jacob LaBree. LaBree has been in upper management roles in the restaurant, healthcare, and entertainment sectors dating back to 2006.
